Happening all weekend, the museum will have more than 200 items on show and about 50 Ford tractors on display to celebrate 100 years of Ford, volunteer Gerald Gelston said.
“[Sunday] we will have the tractors, but we will also have the small Ford car club here and then the theme for Monday is vintage and veteran. We will have the T Models and A Models right through to a new high-performance Ford,” he said.
Volunteer, and Pearn descendant, Ruth Patterson, said the stream world attracted international visitors.
“In Europe, they’re absolutely amazed that there is still so much of the pre-Second World War equipment about because in Europe it was all taken away for the war effort,” she said.
The annual Steam Up is an event for all ages, with organisers saying adults have just as much fun as children. Gates open daily at 9am. Entry is $10 for adults and $5 for children.
