East Coast Allstars captain Tom Spykers said the match went down to the wire.
"We were up by 14 points halfway through the third quarter, but they (The Nads) managed to claw back," he said.
"Our young guys, who I've been coaching and playing with since they were in grade 6 … managed to score some pretty good three-pointers."
He said shooting guard Seth Tonks was best on ground, shooting a few three-point plays.
Mr Spykers said he will captain a new team next year as the students move on to Launceston College.
