The restaurant also won an Australian Small Business Champion award in Sydney earlier this year.
Two other Northern businesses collected awards at the event, with The Bridport Bunker Club taking out the best RSL, sporting or community club and Country Club's The Terrace Restaurant named best accommodation restaurant.
North-West businesses were well-received at the awards, with Smithton hotel Tall Timbers Tasmania taking out four categories and Ulverstone restaurant Pier 01 winning three.
Cambridge's Frogmore Creek won restaurant of the year, while Hobart’s Shoreline Hotel won metro hotel of the year.
THA general manager Steve Old said the quality of Tasmania’s hospitality industry grew with each passing year.
“The standard of professionalism and excellence is higher than ever before which is good news not only for guests in our venues but for the industry as a whole,” Mr Old said.
