LAUNCESTON police officers have searched several properties in the Northern Midlands today for clues to the murder of Shane Barker, after new information on the case emerged.

The 36-year-old father was shot dead in his East Street home on August 2, 2009, and his murder remains unresolved.
Launceston Detectives will be reviewing the case over the next few weeks and investigating a new line of enquiry as a result of the new information provided to police.
Police will also be speaking to a number of people, who they have already spoken to, about the case.
Anyone with information is urged to visit the Campbell Town Police Station tomorrow between 10am and 2pm to speak with a detective.

A reward of $50,000 is being offered for information.
