Independent Australian film, The Island of Doctor Moron, will be screened for one night only at Village Cinema in Launceston on Friday April 29.
The high-energy rock musical will be hosted by Launceston’s Grant Beaumont.
Audiences are taken on an adventure with protagonists Edwyna and Douggie as they find themselves shipwrecked on a mysterious South Sea island.
Producer and co-creator Chris Dockrill said the film is a hybrid of the live show which premiered in Sydney in November, 2014.
“The result is a film that intensifies the live-show experience with an intimacy of involvement for the viewer,” Mr Dockrill said.
