It will be the fourth time that the two teams have met this season, with a second semi-final encounter against minor premier Glenorchy awaiting the winner at Bellerive Oval next week.
Northern Bombers coach Zane Littlejohn said his team had no qualms about travelling to play Burnie on their West Park home ground for the third time this season.
"We're excited about it - it's a great opportunity and it's finals footy and we will play finals anywhere," Littlejohn said.
"Burnie finished second and I'm a big believer that you get what you deserve, and they deserve a home final, and we're excited about going there and hopefully putting in a really good performance."
Littlejohn said the reigning TSL premiers would go into the game confident of success if everyone played their roles.
"The intensity goes up a level being finals footy, and we need to make sure we have 22 contributors playing their roles and an even contribution from all our players.
"I have a fair bit of faith in our group - we've got a few players who have never played in a final at senior level before and a core group that played in the finals series last year, and they will understand the expectation that comes with playing finals and pulling on our jumper."
Burnie coach Clinton Proctor was looking forward to taking on North but played down the home-ground advantage for his side.
"It's nice to be home and for our players to just come down the road and get themselves primed for a big finals game, but I wouldn't say it is a big advantage because last time they beat us up here and they've had success here in the past," Proctor said.
"The last time we met, the better team won on the day and they were harder for longer, so we have to make amends for that loss, which was disappointing, and we're looking forward to the challenge."
