Now based in Melbourne, on Friday she released (Let’s See) How This Plays.
‘‘Since moving to Melbourne two years ago I have really just been focused on writing and finding my way in this new city,’’ Neep said.
‘‘With each release I do I see myself growing as a person and a musician and it’s such a great feeling being able to share that.
‘‘This EP has definitely taken on a more blues-inspired direction and I’m lucky to have had some great friends and musicians support me in creating this.
‘‘The EP really looks at the journey’s we face, the troubles and obstacles we find along the way and how we go about facing them head on.
‘‘Songs about love, about facing addictions and about believing in yourself and not settling for anything less than you are worth.’’
Neep is now working with a band that consists of Joel Macintyre on guitar, Adrian ‘Jack’ Jackson on bass, Dan Doyle on saxophones and Nic Symons on drums.
