The Saints won their only previous encounter in round six at Morven Park by 31 points after kicking away in the final quarter.
"We're looking forward to it - we've got a couple of good games coming up with this one and Uni, so it will be good for us coming into finals to play some tough matches," Saints coach Jake Lowe said.
"We will try a few different things and see what works and keep a few things hidden, and I think it is going to be a pretty tough contest.
"They had the jump on us last time at half-time by a couple of goals and they had some players out that day and we had one of our best players out, so it will be interesting to see how both sides line up this week. It should be a good game and match of the round."
St Pats had an easy win over Lilydale last week but Lowe said they started slowly and were inaccurate kicking 25 behinds - rating it as one of their worst games for the year.
"We are looking to start to hit our straps coming into the last couple of games and finals," he said.
Tom Hilder was a possible inclusion, with the Saints still missing Liam Reynolds and Leigh De Jong with broken arms.
EVANDALE coach James Conroy said he was hoping for a good crowd with the later start and the brain cancer awareness fundraiser making it a big day.
"They are obviously the team to beat going forward and into finals, and we want to put forward a good effort and make sure we are confident in beating them rather than hopeful, and we are looking forward to the challenge on Saturday," he said.
"We ran out of gas the last time and have to be focused on being able to play four quarters this week."
The country Eagles are missing Warwick Johnson.
PROSPECT won a close game under pressure against Perth last week and the fifth-placed Hawks take on Old Launcestonians at Prospect Park.
Coach Danny Hall said it was good to get a win, but they were still striving to recapture their form from earlier in the season.
He said they would look to continue their improvement and ramp up their form against the Blues as they try to maintain their spot in the top five.
Jake Goodyer will miss a week with a knee problem.
OLD SCOTCH travel to Beauty Point to play the Tamar Cats, coming off a big win over Meander Valley last week.
The Thistles have four in a row since their last defeat to St Pats and coach Kim Curtis said they were starting to get a settled side with four weeks to go until the finals.
The return of players such as George Walker, Josh Matthews, Ben Darke, Rhys Davey and Shaun Muller had bolstered their ranks and Curtis said their priority was a top-three finish and double chance come finals.
"We beat Evandale and were pretty competitive against St Pats, and we had a few out. But I was happy with the way the boys went about it and we're looking forward to having another crack at them," he said.
"But we have Prospect next week, who beat us last time, so we have a few things to sort out before we meet them."
LILYDALE play Perth, with Demons coach Matthew Stokes hoping to notch up win number four for the season at home.
"We've been playing some better competitive footy over the past couple of weeks, so to get a win will be well deserved," he said.
He expected his side to be close to full strength, with Josh Griggs a chance to return if he passed a fitness test.
In the final game, Meander Valley will look to bounce back from a big loss to Scotch when they host the in-form Uni-Mowbray.
A win is important for both clubs' finals aspirations.
