Street names proposed by the developer of a partly constructed subdivision at Riverside are expected to be approved by the council.
The developer has proposed the street names Majestic Avenue, Meadow Court, Ridgeview Crescent and Countryside Court.
Built on the land formally known as 39 Ecclestone Road, the new developer of the subdivision has renamed the area "Ecclestone Estates - where country meets city".
The third West Tamar Community Safety and Crime Prevention Plan will be brought to council on Tuesday as the current one is set to expire at the end of 2015.
The plan will include information on identifying and consulting with the community about real and potential community issues, increased awareness of crime prevention strategies, co-ordinating approaches to discourage crime and antisocial behaviour and supporting and promoting programs that positively influence attitudes and behaviour in the community.
More statistics reflecting the West Tamar community and more succinct, reader-friendly and informative information will be included in the report.
The council will consider the adoption of a Long Term Strategic Asset Management Plan, to be associated with the Transport Services, Buildings and Stormwater Drainage Asset Management Plans.
The total value of council's major assets is $284 million, the plan has a large financial impact as it considers the total costs of depreciation, maintenance and renewal over the next 10 years.
The council will consider tenders to widen Killara Avenue, a narrow, residential street located south of Exeter.
Work outlined in the tender included widening the roadway to six metres and to kerb both sides to contain road water run-off.
It also included the removal of open drains located on the road.
Traffic pressure on Rosevears Drive could be relieved thanks to a proposal to install road humps in the area.
With a current speed limit of 60km/h, a proposal for three speed humps has been prepared.
