The town has already been given a splash of colour with help from one of its knitting groups in the lead-up to the event.
Not only will there be the usual agricultural competitions, workshops and forums, music will also be taking a front seat in 2015.
Tasmanian country rock group the Wolfe Brothers have caused a stir within the show committee with the announcement of their performance during the day.
Show publicity officer Jo Dowling said securing the band was a boon for the event.
"Excitement has been building about them coming," Ms Dowling said.
"We hope it will attract a wide audience of people to come.
"The show is all about celebrating what we do in Tasmania and the Wolfe Brothers fit into that concept well . . . they're important to Tasmania."
Supporting the band will be Caitlyn Shadbolt.
Ms Dowling said a gala ball would also be held ahead of the event.
