The application is for a tourist operation incorporating a visitor centre with a museum/gallery, bar, restaurant and function area.
The company announced plans for the development at the former Tullochs Auctions site last year.
It was reported in August that planning was under way, with work expected to begin and be completed at the site by the end of 2015.
The multi-use centre will be a hub for brewery tours and tastings, house historical local brewing house historical local brewery.
It will replace the tasting experience currently located at the Boag’s Centre for Beer Lovers in William Street.
