Mr Williams spoke towards the end of Sustainable August, an initiative created by the organisation's sustainable living working group.
Tamar NRM held workshops and activities throughout the month aimed at helping people build a sustainable lifestyle.
Tree planting days and home workshops were among the weekly offerings.
"The month has been very successful," Mr Williams said.
"The people that have attended have been from a broad cross-section of the community."
Sustainable August's final activity will happen on Saturday, with a bike fun day and family activities to be held in conjunction with the Tamar Bicycle Users Group.
The event will run from 11am to 3.30pm, meet at Royal Park's barbecue area and cost a gold coin donation.
Mr Williams said anyone who wished to take steps towards a more sustainable lifestyle or would like to offer their skills to the sustainable living working group were welcome to contact the organisation.
"There's an element of grace we can take in taking steps to more sustainable living," Mr Williams said.
