On Wednesday night, vandals cut Telstra cables in three locations in the suburb: the corner of Delungra and Fairthorne Roads, a second location on Fairthorne Road and on Anderson Street.
The damage caused significant disruption to the local Telstra network, as the footpath must be dug up in order to repair the cables.
Police say that the damage is the latest in a series of similar attacks on Telstra property this year. The area of Delungra and Fairthorne Road has been targeted three times in the past three months.
If anyone has noticed anyone acting suspiciously in this area, they are urged to contact Launceston Police on 6336 3945.
