The second versus third match- up will see the winner consolidate a top-two spot on the ladder and Storm coach Mitch Hills has targeted the game among a block of wins he wants for his club before its next Foxtel Cup appearance.
Hills rated Glenorchy as a quality opposition and knows his team is in for a tough contest.
"Some of their better players are obviously in form and playing very well," he said.
"Their top-end guys are a danger and they tend to go through (Aaron) Cornelius a lot.
"There are three or four quality players in their midfield especially Jaye Bowden so we will have to put some time into those guys and get those match-ups right first.
"Then it will come down to everyone playing their role on the day and we've been able to do that lately so hopefully that happens."
Will Hanson is the likely opponent to play on dangerous Glenorchy coach Aaron Cornelius who is a barometer for his team but Hills said he had confidence in his key defender.
"He holds down his position in the team and he has taken all before him in terms of playing on the best player each week and done the job and is in good form himself being selected in the state team.
"He will get first crack at it and we've obviously got some other options if Aaron gets on top."
Happy with his side's form in beating Hobart City last week, Hills was keen for the Storm to bring the same A-game against the Magpies.
"It was good to win last week especially being a home game - we should have won and it was good to put it away.
"We played the ground really quite well and we're looking to do that again this week against Glenorchy.
"We obviously won't have it all our own way but we feel if we can defend the way we've been able to do to start the season and our offence can take another step forward we will be hard to beat."
