Yesterday, Mitchell William Bullen, 30, of Perth, pleaded guilty to 48 counts of obtaining goods by false pretences and one count of stealing.
According to court documents, Bullen used a Caltas fuel card to take the diesel, the property of Springland Ag Contracting.
Bullen, who appeared in the Launceston Magistrates Court, pleaded not guilty to attempting to interfere with a witness.
The documents allege he tried to dissuade a Crown witness at Melton Mowbray in February from attending court.
Bullen was remanded to appear in court on June 30 for the stealing matters and in the Supreme Court in Launceston on July 21 for the indictable offence.
