The event, deemed hugely successful by group president Sherry Fenton, saw obstacle courses and dressage themed activities held for attendees.
"I thought rather than just have games we'd combine your normal fun day plus the games," Mrs Fenton said.
"That way hopefully people would come to the fun day, which they did, and stay around for the games."
She said an obstacle challenge, bending, pick up sticks, flag and barrel and a series of novelty challenges proved popular with children - of all sizes.
"Both the kids and the big kids absolutely loved it," Mrs Fenton said.
"There was a balloon race, a sack race, egg and spoon race, these were all done with ponies and horses, it was just absolutely fantastic."
She said dates had already been spied for a return event next year.
"It's very tricky, weather is what determines the number of people you get, and I think that was a factor in why it was hugely successful," she said.
"Next year we will have a different array of games, some the same, but we'll throw in a few different ideas as well - you can always learn to improve running these things."
Fun days help the group raise money to help with running its annual A-class all-arabian show.
