North will be aiming to continue its best-ever start to a TSL season and make it three wins in a row when it tackles the Roos under lights in a top-of-the table clash between the competition's only undefeated sides.
Tarrant was influential, kicking five goals and assisting in a couple of others, in the Bombers' big 79-point win over Launceston, and the club will be hoping their marquee recruit can have another big game.
North Launceston finds itself in the unusual position of being undefeated on top of the TSL ladder, having beaten two of last year's finalists and looking to add the scalp of another to its collection.
But they are likely to be without the experienced Allan O'Sign, who limped off on Friday night with a hamstring strain and should miss a week or two.
"Clarence will be another massive test and they keep getting harder and certainly don't get any easier in this comp," Northern Bombers coach Zane Littlejohn said.
"We'll be ready for it and we'll put plans in place, and we know if we play to them and have all those contributors again we will be competitive and hopefully come out with a good result."
In other matches, Launceston will look to bounce back from its defeat to North with a win in its first home game of the season against Lauderdale at Windsor Park on Sunday.
The Blues will need to regroup, and they face a Southern Bombers outfit also coming off a loss at home to the Western Storm.
Burnie takes on Glenorchy at West Park still looking for its first victory of the season, and the TSL's two new Southern clubs, Hobart City and the Tigers, clash at Kingborough.
The Western Storm and Devonport game from this round was played as a stand-alone season opener.
The Storm head to Adelaide on April 29 for their Foxtel Cup match against West Adelaide.
