A flush of upgrades, including a lick of fresh paint, were yesterday welcomed by Country Club property services manager Stan Toleman and general manager Matthew Hardman.
Additional car parking facilities, a new bilingual website, restaurant, sports bar and more have been added to the facility in response to growing demand.
Sales and marketing manager Bede Clifton said the most recent tourism season had been one of the best recorded in recent years.
``We've got a different customer base coming in at the moment,'' Mr Clifton said.
``We've seen strong growth in conference and business markets, our biggest tourist sectors have been Sydney and Melbourne and we've also seen an increase in Chinese visitation from Hong Kong.''
Mr Hardman said acting on feedback received from clients would help the club's push to enhance its 4.5-star rating as a hotel.
``The projects that are currently under way are a result of listening to our customers and enhancing our existing offering to be more suitable to their needs and wants,'' he said.
``Some of the changes have been in the pipeline for a while and it is exciting to see them taking shape.''
A Facebook competition to bring in the upgrades has also been announced.
