The special half-hour visit by Thalia Papadakis and Bianca Johnston was organised through a family connection with three of the school's pupils, Mia, 9, and Oliver, 7, Baldock and Isabella Johnston, 9.
Isabella said her cousin Ms Papadakis - the two are related through the Papadakis name, not the Johnston connection - was known in the family for being a good cook and made great fish and chips as she had worked at a seafood eatery in Hobart.
Ms Papadakis and Ms Johnston said filming of the show had finished and there were about a month of episodes to run before the winners would be made public.
The two are currently studying part-time but met while at school and are keen to eventually open their own food business.
Under the name The Market Kitchen, they are now selling their own chicken liver pate at the Tasmanian Farm Gate Market in Hobart on Sundays.
