Launceston CIB detectives are focusing their efforts on the arson cases that have claimed Housing Tasmania properties in the suburb.
Since May 2012, there have been eight deliberately lit fires to properties in Pioneer Parade, Ravenswood.
Each unit comes at a replacement cost of about $190,000.
Detective Sergeant Peter Roberts said new information had provided ''previously unidentified' lines of investigation.
''We are again asking any person that may have information regarding the people responsible for these fires to contact us,'' Detective Sergeant Roberts said.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact Crimestoppers on 1800 333 000 or the Launceston CIB on 6336 3828.
All information will be treated confidentially.
