Ravenswood man Asador Mekonen Hinsta, 26, faced a two-day bail application which ended today.

Magistrate Simon Brown refused bail and adjourned Mr Hinsta's matter for hearing on March 18 at 9.45am.

Mr Hinsta will also face a mention for all of his matters via video-link on February 25 at 9.15am.

He has pleaded not guilty to numerous charges, including possession of a dangerous article in a public place, having assaulted police, having resisted police and possession of a firearm while unlicensed.
