Preparations are in full swing for the historic house and museum's annual Bubbly and Brunch event.
Weather permitting, tables adorned with crisp white cloths will be spread throughout the perfectly manicured grounds of the heritage-listed Youngtown property.
Roses, hydrangeas and geraniums in the traditional European garden are expected to be in full bloom.
While sipping on chilled sparkling wine, attendees will be treated to plates of locally sourced cold meats and salmon, scones with clotted cream and homemade jams, fresh strawberries with yoghurt and pastries.
Franklin House manager Hilary Keeley said a team of about 10 volunteers would work hard to ensure the event had a feel of complete elegance.
``Everything will move at a graceful, slow pace so that visitors can thoroughly relax and enjoy the experience,'' she said.
``Four or five musicians from the Launceston Community Orchestra will also be joining us to serenade people while they indulge.''
Money raised from the event will go towards the upkeep of Franklin House, with ``sinking stables'' a high-priority project.
``The stables here definitely need some restoration,'' Ms Keeley said.
