YEARS of hard work and a sound knowledge of footy has seen three Launceston men chosen as the official faces of AFL's fantasy league.
The men behind popular Dream Team advice site DT Talk - Mick ``Calvin'' Bent, Adam ``Roy'' Davey and Adam ``Warnie'' Child - have been selected to work as The Traders for NAB AFL Fantasy Football.
The lead-up to the footy season will see the group do club-by-club reviews and assist punters with tried and tested trading strategies.
The men started the season last Friday with a live chat with thousands of participants looking to see how the new season worked.
The three teachers will film videos, record podcasts, write articles and interact on social media to help fantasy football fans throughout the year.
``It's light-hearted and fun first, but we also do our research and provide serious answers,'' Mr Davey said.
The trio were asked to write and edit a six-page spread for widely-used football resource Footy Record , released on February 7.
``It's the pinnacle of what we've done,'' Mr Bent said.
Mr Child said the dedication to fantasy football - this year marks the group's eighth consecutive season on board - stemmed from a passion for the game.
``It's a great platform to get into a bit of banter with your mates,'' Mr Davey agreed.
Mr Bent, Mr Davey and Mr Child will continue to contribute to dreamteamtalk.com.
