The case, which has lasted more than three years, was concluded in minutes today when Mr Hill found Sven Olaf Wiener had no case to answer.
Mr Wiener, who is standing for Senator Online in the federal election, was charged with possessing a restricted Eastern Snake-necked turtle in July 2010 at Swan Point.
Mr Wiener challenged the admissibility of the evidence claiming the search warrant used to seize the turtle was invalid.
Mr Hill said submissions by Mr Wiener were lengthy and contained comments of an ``intemperate and inappropriate nature which I would not have permitted .. in open court''.
But he found the search warrant did not authorise police to take the turtle and dismissed the complaint.
