The Launceston Police and Community Youth Club at Newstead is offering a holiday program for children aged 4 to 12 years with activities each week day until February 5.
Outside school hours care co-ordinator Cherie Muller said the activities were a mixture of themed activity days at the club at the corner of Abbott and Wentworth streets, and excursions around the North.
Upcoming excursions include trips to a wildlife park, a river cruise, swimming and bowling.
Ms Muller said in-house days included a pyjama party, art and craft market and The Amazing Race day, based on the popular television series.
``The primary focus is the fun element,'' she said of the activities.
