Finally Dylan Yeandle's moment has come.
The 25 year-old third year apprentice plumber from Launceston revealed today he has made it to the Australia's Got Talent semi-finals and his fate will sit in the hands of television viewers for the first time.
Since 2004 Yeandle has auditioned for Popstars, Australian Idol (five times), X-Factor, Big Brother and Australia's Got Talent.
''I guess I'm a bit of a reality TV junkie, I'm kind of addicted to these shows,'' Yeandle said.
Most of the time he said he was eliminated before even appearing on television.
''My talent is-basically I lack talent. I've never really been good at singing.''
But he said he loved to entertain and it was a childhood dream to be on television, looking up to performers such as Usher and Michael Jackson.
''Reality TV was the only way for me to even get a chance to audition. There's no other opportunity like it really.''
He said his ultimate dream was to land an underwear modelling contract and travel the world.
His latest act, Dylan Yeandle and Risky Business, involves him performing a song and dance strip routine with two back-up dancers, neighbours Joel and Sarah Anne.
While Yeandle couldn't reveal when he would appear on the show or what the act would involve, he encouraged Tasmanians to get behind him and help him, ''put this town on the map''.
''I you don't like it, don't vote, but if you're sitting there with a smile ear to ear then please vote because it's a dream of mine and I don't want this to stop.''
