The Tasman Bridge, Launceston Town Hall and Devonport's paranaple convention centre, among other public buildings, are to be lit up in the red and white of the Danish flag on Sunday night.
Prince Frederik and Princess Mary will be crowned King and Queen Consort respectively on Monday morning Australian time, following the following the shock abdication of Queen Margrethe.
Princess Mary will make history as she becomes the first Australian to be made Queen of a European monarchy.
The couple met in a Sydney pub during the 2000 Olympics.
Acting Premier Michael Ferguson said the state would also gift the new royals a handmade Huon Pine occasional table by renowned Tasmanian furniture maker Rex Heathcote.
"A Taroona High, Hobart College, and University of Tasmania graduate, Crown Princess Mary is one of the most accomplished women in the world," Mr Ferguson said.
"As Tasmanians would expect, someone knows someone who sat next to Princess Mary on an economy flight to Hobart, where she often comes to visit family and friends."
He said the state would also donate $10,000 to the Alannah and Madeline Foundation - one of the charities championed by the princess.
"Princess Mary is a natural ambassador for Tasmania: our natural places, our clean air, our perfect climate, and all we do and make, from wave-piercing catamarans to wine and whisky," Mr Ferguson said.
"We are sure Denmark and the rest of the world will embrace Crown Princess Mary as Queen.
"And we will join them, celebrating the coronation in our own Tasmanian way - with a glass of local sparkling and a Danish pastry."
Tasmanians can send a personal message to the royal couple via the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark's 'Online Book of Congratulations'.
