
An investigation is underway after a woman was shot in Summerhill yesterday afternoon.
Tasmania Police were notified of the incident after a Prospect woman in her 20s went to hospital with an injury to her forearm.

A police spokesperson said the woman was injured about 3.30pm when a firearm was discharged after an argument broke out between two groups.
They said the incident was targeted and posed no threat to the community. However, anyone with information is asked to contact Tasmania Police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
The woman's injury was non-life threatening, but will require surgery.
