He was the company's chief operations officer for almost two years before he was made redundant along with three other executives as part of a company restructure.
The second highest termination payout went to former chief executive Steve Davy who received $669,000.
Former chief strategy officer Andrew Catchpole received a payout of $542,000 when he left the business after 14 years, in addition to a base salary he'd earned of $345,000.

Hydro paid Mr Catchpole a total of $874,000 over the past financial year.
Former chief people officer Robert Tanti received a redundancy payment of $207,000, in addition to $86,000 he was paid for about four months of work.
Labor's energy spokesman Dean Winter said Tasmanians would be appalled to know that four executives had been collectively paid out $2.4 million when they left the business.
"It's just disgraceful that these excessive amounts are being paid out to an elite group of executives just for exiting this organisation," he said.
Mr Winter said the government had not yet released details about the departure of the former Hydro chief executive Evangelista Albertini and how much money he received when he left the business.
