The Boag's XXX Appreciation Society gathered at Sporties Hotel in Launceston, where they were treated to a round courtesy of the brewery.
Group member Chris Dolbey said his first ever beer was Boag's Red, which he shared with his grandad.
"It was just great to have a night where I could celebrate the success of local beer with like-minded people," he said.

James Boag's state sales manager John Burchill said he had been in regular contact with the society's organisers and was keen to do something to help them celebrate the milestone.
"We are so pleased to be able to toast 140 years of Tassie's favourite beer with its loyal fans," he said.
