Armitage Auctions pleaded not guilty to the charge brought by the Department of Public Prosecutions.
Prosecutor Verity Dawkins alleges that between August 28, 2019, and September 10 last year Armitage Auctions was exposed for the sale of relics.
The relics exposed for sale were allegedly under the meaning of the Aboriginal Heritage Act 1975, while not holding a permit or authority to do so and at the time was reckless or negligent as to whether the object were relics.
Magistrate Sharon Cure adjourned the case for contest mention on December 22.
Armitage Auctions was established in 1972 and is based in Goodman Court, Invermay.
