The pair are Scotch Oakburn's most successful oarswomen after they claimed five titles at the Tasmanian Club Championships and were undefeated in every junior race they entered in the state.
The pair are captain and vice-captain of rowing at Scotch, which scooped its first Head of the River win in 24 years under their leadership.
Scotch head of sport Ali Foot said the pair had exhibited great leadership for the school.
"They lead by example because with rowing you're training many times throughout the week at a pretty high intensity ... every time you step up to train it's a new level you're trying to achieve and they never back down from that," he said.
"The way they go about their training out on the river, the way they communicate with each other about what's needed and operating well beyond their years as well.
"These girls are thinking on a higher level on what they do really well and where they can find extra speed."
The pair have also enjoyed success at national level after receiving their first Australian team berth as part of the women's under-19s coxless four after an impressive trial performance.
That came after the duo claimed a silver medal at the Australian junior rowing championships in the under-19s women's pair.
The pair are the first rowers to be on an Australian representative team while still attending Scotch Oakburn.
Foot, a former world champion in the men's eight, has been impressed with their dedication to the sport and has backed them to reach major honours.
"In terms of where they can go from here, the world's their oyster and I really think they can go on and represent Australia at the Olympics," he said.
"I think with that in mind and how passionate they are about the sport I think we'll be seeing a lot more of them and they will be great ambassadors."
