Drawn to face St Pats in last Saturday's semi-final, the 2018 and 2019 premiers cast aside memories of a 108-point loss earlier in the year to match it with their Northern rivals.
Down by four points with just minutes left, Scotch goaled through star forward Harry Bayles and hung on for a one-point victory to advance to Saturday's decider against reigning premier Guilford Young College.
Boasting eight Devils and a percentage of nearly 300, unbeaten Guilford will go in as flag favourites but Scotch is refusing to be intimidated.
"We're pretty excited - we've improved a lot over the year and the players have come together really well," Scotch Oakburn sports director Ali Foot said.
"We've got year nine through to year 12 represented in our team and we've seen some really good leadership from the older players and they're looking forward to attacking the game on Saturday.
"Guilford are definitely favourites for the game - they haven't lost all season and they beat us significantly last time we played - but we've improved a lot and we'll be going down there to have our best match of the season."
Scotch has just one player with senior TSL experience - North Launceston young gun Bayles - but still boasts a handful of 2019 SATIS flag winners, including Liam Canny, who is the only remaining player from the 2018 premiership side.
"Liam Canny's probably played the most games of SATIS football of any player ever," Foot said.
"He'll probably go down as the most successful footballer to go through the SATIS system in history, he's played four years in a row.
"Charlie Skipper has improved a lot over the season, as has Jack Nicholls, forward Harry Bayles, defender Henry Cox and [team captain] Harry Gee is a really good leader."
Saturday's game is at 2.45pm at Kingston Twin Ovals.
