
Man hit on Midland Highway
Emergency services attended a pedestrian accident on the Midland Highway near Prospect at around 5.30am.
It was reported to police that a pedestrian had been struck by a car travelling north on the highway near the Prospect off-ramp.
A Tasmania Police spokesperson said the vehicle involved was towed from the scene, while the male pedestrian was transported to hospital and is believed to have non-life threatening injuries.
