Tanfield said the program was previously performed in Hobart during early December, and was a huge success.

"I think it's very important to offer these things as widely as one possibly can," he said.
"I always desperately wanted to serve the whole state."
Now Tanfield, along with the rest of the Hobart Chamber Orchestra, will be able to share his talents with a Launceston audience.
"It's a very exciting program," Tanfield said.
"[The music is] incredibly striking, very tumultuously moving."
The musical director and soloist said the music would not just appeal to those who enjoyed classical.
The Versatile Virtuoso will be held on May 2 from 3-4pm at St John's Anglican Church.
