A finalist just once since joining the TSL in 2014, the Tigers have been steadily building under Trent Baumeler's reign and appear a good chance of featuring in September again this season.
"Normally around this time we've been a bit of a slow starter - we're always playing a bit of catch up through the middle of the year, so it's been good to capitalise on some earlier momentum," Baumeler said.

"We've probably got a core of that group who, even though they're still young, have played a lot of footy together and a lot of the things we've been working on over the past three or four years are starting to fall into place and happen naturally which is a good sign of growth in the group."
Round two's Lauderdale win was a landmark one.
The 29-point result marked the Tigers' first victory over the Southern Bombers in the Baumeler era, and just their second in seven years.
It came against a Lauderdale side featuring three ex-AFL players - Allen Christensen, Sam Siggins and Josh McGuinness - and featured six Tigers players with 10 or fewer games of senior experience.
"I think our guys take a lot of confidence against being able to play well against them and get the result on the scoreboard as well, which eventually becomes important too," Baumeler said.
Their biggest test comes on Saturday as they travel to Windsor Park to meet star-studded reigning premier Launceston.

"They're very even," Baumeler said.
"Behind the ball their defenders know how they want to play together and they're very aggressive, so our forwards are going to have to get their defensive actions right.
"Jacob Boyd is a very dangerous player and you look forward of the ball and Dylan Riley is an out-and-out superstar, so we've got to make sure we're trying to limit the damage he can do."
