The winners of the past six Greater Northern Cups have gone through this campaign undefeated, having last tasted defeat to a Kate Sherriff-inspired Riverside in round two last season.
Ashlee Scott and Skye Furlonge are both a chance to play their first Cricket North grand final after being named in South's 12-player squad with Narine Maurangi unavailable.
Knights coach Belinda Wegman said her side was happy to be in another grand final, but eager to see the competition even out in the coming years.

"We've had our team together for about five years and we've had a couple of inclusions with the juniors coming through," Wegman said.
"[It's been good to see] senior players working with the juniors on fielding, catching and what we want to get out of the game.
"We don't take each game for granted that we're going to win, I stress that to the girls each time - anything can happen in finals."
The Knights have had plenty of contributors in 2020-21, with Caitlyn Webster and Alice McLauchlan taking 34 wickets between them and Wegman, Meg Radford and Amy Duggan all making 150-plus runs.
For the Lions, opener Ianthe Boden has been a standout contributor while Mary Broadhurst (17 wickets) and Charlotte Layton have impressed with the ball.
Launceston skipper Lynn Hendley knows an upset won't come easy - the Lions haven't beaten South since a one-run win in 2018 - but believes it can be done.

"Our judgement isn't clouded in the fact that we understand how strong they are and that our job will be immense to overcome their skill," Hendley said.
"But there's always a possibility, so our goals are to work on the things we do really well, the skills that we have and work on smaller goals hoping that the bigger goal may be reached."
The winner will also take home the Tony Benneworth Shield, which honours the coach who worked with both clubs before his death in 2018.
Saturday's game is at 4.30pm at the NTCA No.1.
