But if the Sasha Moloney-inspired nine-wicket win on Wednesday was easy going, Friday's one-run nail-biter was anything but.
The Tigers looked in trouble on several occasions during their defence of 9-215 at Kingston Twin Ovals as Nicole Bolton (71 off 79) and Chloe Piparo (51) both threatened to win the game off their own bats.
It took the poise of Hobart spin sensation Amy Smith - who only turned 16 in November - to turn the game on two occasions.
Smith (4-27 off seven) first removed Bolton and Mathilda Carmichael in the 44th over before being thrown the ball in the final over.

Having watched Taneale Peshcel take 13 off Heather Graham's 49th over, Smith held her nerve to concede just five runs to leave Western Australia 8-214.
Earlier, Smith and Belinda Vakarewa (2-27 off 10) had also proved valuable contributors with the bat.
Battling at 7-144 in the 40th over, the Tigers added 51 for the eighth wicket with Vakarewa (27 off 24) combining well with Launceston's Meg Phillips.

Smith added 19 off 10 to push the score over 200 as Phillips (49 not out) finished a whisker short of a well-deserved half-century.
The Tigers next meet New South Wales at Bellerive Oval on Thursday.
