Emergency services are on the scene of a plane crash at the Burnie Airport.
A Tasmania Police spokesperson said about 4.45pm a light plane crashed while attempting a landing on the runway at the airport in Wynyard.
The female pilot and passenger were able to exit the plane.

The spokesperson said they were being assessed by Ambulance Tasmania paramedics.
The Australian Transport Safety Bureau has been notified and the crash will be investigated.
