The 18-year-old starred as skipper of the Tasmania Devils last year and has added another string to his bow - named the Matthew Richardson Medallist for 2020.
The Richardson Medal is awarded to the State League's rising star and requires the player to be under 23 years of age and played less than 20 games and two seasons of senior football.
As the number one tackler in the competition - averaging seven a game - the Devils skipper certainly fits the bill.
But it wasn't just tackles that the 181cm midfielder thrived on as Davis finished third in handballs, 10th in total disposals (averaging 20 per game) and fifth and seventh respectively in loose and hard-ball gets.
His 10 matches saw him named in the best players on seven occasions to go alongside his nine from 13 Devils appearances last year.
From a team perspective, Davis proved to be an exceptional leader in the Roos' young side, which saw them surprise the competition and make finals.
STATE LEAGUE NEWS
Unfortunately for the Roos, 2020 may be the last season in red and white for Davis with the Richardson Medallist one of only four Tasmanians to have completed the state's draft combine in September.
Davis, alongside North Launceston's Jackson Callow and North Hobart duo Patrick Walker and Sam Collins are the state's main draft chances.
