The women's final game for the away trip to Kingborough ended in a nail-biter, but the Lightning emerged with a 47-45 win against the Devonport Warriors.
Aishah Anis hit a clutch three-pointer in the final 30 seconds of the game, putting the Lightning up by two with the Warriors fouling out the final moments of the game.
The men's side had little luck against a dominant Somerset team, who cruised to a 99-85 win.

The Heat's victory was largely due to a triple-threat of Lachlan Barker, Tarkyn Whitehouse and Ben Richmond, all of whom scored 20 or more points.
In their second Sunday game, the men's team would fall to the BTas High Performance team 79-60.
The state league will play again at the end of October in Devonport.
