I suspect that the bulk of them ended up going to Hobart and the surrounding areas, but I'd like to be proved wrong.

President Trump Electoral Desire
POSSIBLE speculation that President Trump may not stand down if defeated at the forthcoming November presidential election may be a defining moment in American politics, as the country teeters on the edge of democracy or autocracy?

IN OTHER NEWS:
Presidential Election
DEBACLE, really not the right word, probably embarrassing and definitely UN-presidential.
I have yet to witness two designated world leaders behaving so badly. Trump being the worst, and as usual offered not leadership qualities, but hard nosed bullying and rude interruptions. Questions were evaded and child-like bickering continued throughout.
The moderator was flat out to try and gain control. Trump refused to honour his commitment not to interrupt, and supposedly interesting answers were lost through lack of audibility. With respect I find nothing I like about Trump, his posturing, arrogance, ignorance and lack of respect for women gives me nothing to admire.
And he is no orator as many statements are childish and ill informed. And worst of all he is dangerous, with a humongous ego and with supreme power he has the power to start conflict with other countries and even war. America is one of Australia's greatest allies along the UK, and it is imperative that it has solid, president worthy leadership. What a disappointment.

Borders open date good news
This is amazing, but sadly a few weeks too late for us. We had our flights cancelled to the Gold Coast because of the border restrictions. We should have been up sunning ourselves on the Gold Coast in four days. It's the third time this trip has been cancelled. Maybe now things are getting back to normal we can re-book our dream holiday, they say third time lucky....but maybe in our case its fourth time lucky.

Unemployed
I WAS just reading the local paper where one of the Nationals urged the unemployed to get a job and not rely on the dole or whatever it's called nowadays, because I don't know how many times I have heard this statement uttered by politicians and other people. It is getting old hat.
I wish I had a magical wand so that when said, the person saying it, swapped their lives with the dole recipient just to experience the other person's life and living conditions by living on $40 a day to see if it's hard or easy to do
