Nathan Luke Deckers, 28, pleaded guilty to seven complaints including aggravated burglary and stealing, evade police, two counts of drive while disqualified, motor vehicle stealing and trespass and possess a dangerous article.
Deckers was recently sentenced in the Launceston Supreme Court to three years' jail for armed robbery and attempted armed robbery in Devonport in July.
IN OTHER NEWS:
Magistrate Jackie Hartnett said that Deckers had been on a two month stretch of offending which only ceased when he was taken into custody after the armed robbery.
In May he drove while disqualified in George Town and accelerated when police tried to intercept.
On June 20 he stole a motor vehicle and trespassed.
On June 22 he entered a house while the homeowner was in the shower and stole a wallet and cash.
"You said you were not aware that someone was home, but that would have been unsettling for the homeowner to have found out you were there," Ms Hartnett said.
He also travelled to a remote location and stole a firearm safe worth $2295.
Deckers was also found with a knife in West Launceston.
Ms Hartnett said Deckers had an industrious background before developing a serious addiction to methylamphetamine which cost him his job and life savings.
She said there was a significant hope that Deckers could become a contributing member of the community if he got off drugs.
She suspended three months of the six month jail sentence which would, together with the Supreme Court sentence, make him eligible for parole after 21 months.
