Talented 15-year-old winger Ryley has been named on a wing - opposite from older brother Ollie - following a string of impressive development league performances this season.
North Launceston coach Taylor Whitford said the young St Patrick's College midfielder's form had been irresistible.
"He's quite a young player but he's been playing some really good footy of late and he's really earned his spot this week so we're really excited to give him that opportunity," Whitford said.
"He's played DLs all year and been probably our most consistent performer on a wing - the last couple of weeks he's played school footy, but since his return he's been in really good form.
"He uses the ball so well - not only for a young player, but a player in general - he uses the ball so well and makes great decisions so we're backing him in to play at the level, it's a really exciting time."
Set to turn 16 in January, Sanders comes from a strong history of footballing success.
Brother Ollie has enjoyed a breakout season in seniors this year, missing just one game, while dad Adam is a North Launceston premiership player and life member.
Ryley's grandfather Rob is a 153-gamer, premiership coach and prolific volunteer at North Launceston who was inducted as a club legend in 2017.
Adam and uncle Kerry have both coached Launceston to premierships, while cousin Kane has led Launceston's development league to a 10-1 start this season.
The teenager's selection also continues North's recent tradition of senior brother combinations.
Lochlan and Connor Young, Jay and Tom Foon and Brad and Andrew Cox-Goodyer have all lined up in the same 22 during the past five years.
"I think we've got a really good affinity with family members at the footy club with the Youngs and the Foons," Whitford said.
"So to have those two boys playing in the same side is really special and something I hope they get to remember for a long time."
