Attendance limits will be doubled to 1000 people as of next Friday - one day before the NTFA Shield grand finals and two weeks before State League finals.
Crowds have been limited to 500 people since community sport resumed in July, except for a TSL match at North Hobart earlier this month which trialled a 1250-person limit.

Outgoing AFL Tasmania chief executive Trish Squires said the change would be "of great benefit" to clubs and leagues across the state.
"It is fantastic news for football and football fans, enabling more people to get out and enjoy exciting finals series right across our state," Squires said.
"Our clubs and competitions have done an amazing job in adhering to the 500 limit but it has been hard turning away football fans so the increased limit is welcomed news.
"Traditionally some of our competitions have thousands through the gate in finals so today's announcement is going to be a big help."
The news was also warmly received by the NTFA, who earlier this week announced plans to hold its three grand finals at two separate venues.
"The NTFA grand finals will proceed as scheduled," a social media statement read.
The seniors and under-21 grand finals, to be played at Deloraine on Saturday, 26th September, will be fully ticketed events.
"In regards to the NTFAW grand final on Sunday, 27th September at Bridgenorth, tickets will be able to be purchased at the gate on the day.
"This is a terrific outcome and opportunity for more fans to attend each grand final."
The NTFA said it would reveal how grand final tickets can be purchased by Sunday.
The crowd boost comes on the proviso that venues have COVID-safe plans in place.
