Police received reports of a vehicle stolen from a business at Invermay on Wednesday, before it crashed into another car on Vermont Road.
The car was later spotted in the CBD, where the driver allegedly ran a red light, and crashed into a 4WD on the corner of Tamar and Cimitiere streets.
Two men and a woman from inside the stolen car allegedly fled the scene, but were later taken into custody.
A woman driving the 4WD, which was forced up onto a curb and into a building, was treated at the scene for neck and chest injuries.

Launceston Inspector Darren Hopkins said there may have been a fourth person involved, and police were currently reviewing CCTV footage from the CBD crash.

It was the second crash reported in the North on Wednesday, after two cars crashed on the West Tamar Highway at Sidmouth earlier in the day.
