Launceston SLSC chief instructor Michelle Brook thanked the club and said the men's shed jumped at the opportunity to help.
"Most of our rescues over the 21 years have involved the use of rescue boards, so safe and secure storage of these boards is important for our club," she said.
"These racks will allow safer and easier access to boards particularly for school groups practising open water swimming and use of boards."

The men's shed is also rallying to build its own shed on West Tamar Council land at Benson Court, Riverside.
They received a grant of $35,000 from the Tasmania Community Fund, but the new shed will cost $70,000.
The group has 24 members and is hoping to raise the other $35,000 through projects, such as the SLSC racks where they charge at cost, and other community initiatives.
"It might take us five or six months to get," president Bruce Thomas said.
"We have some really great blokes ... they're such a wonderful mob of people I really don't want to lose them."
