Flood watch will be in place for the North, North East, Derwent, Huon and South East areas of the state until Wednesday.
In other news:
BOM forecasts about 30-70mm will fall in the south and east of Tasmania, with elevated areas receiving up to 100mms.
High southeasterly winds between 70-80km/h are also predicted for for those areas across Monday and Tuesday as well.
