A pole fire at Kelvedon beach has caused a power outage on the East Coast stretching from north of Swansea down towards Triabunna.

The outage has left 1455 premises without power including in Cranbrook, Dolphin Sands, Little Swanport, Pontypool, Rocky Hills, Swansea and Triabunna.
Crews are on the way to the area.

It was one of a number of power outages as strong winds cross the state on Tuesday afternoon.
More than 500 properties are without power in the Ringarooma area, including in Branxholm, Legerwood, Tulendeena and Alberton. A restoration time has not been provided, with another update due at 5pm.
An outage at George Town affecting 50 premises is expected to be fixed by 4.30pm.
An outage near Wynyard left almost 800 premises without power for over an hour, but this has since been rectified.
