One of Tasmania's largest centres last season, South Launceston Football Club will begin its sessions for 4-10-year-olds from March 27 across Friday and Sunday timeslots.
South Launceston Auskick co-ordinator Brendan Poke said he was hoping to improve on the 75 young guns who took part in last season's program.
"A lot of our programs are play-based, a lot of fun and the skills that are developed come out through those fun games," he said.
"The other thing is that social and emotional development comes out through the games which is key to playing in any sport capacity.
"We just want to see kids involved and part of our role is to promote it and to get kids out and enjoy the game."

Poke's fellow co-ordinator Matt Gamble said parents and grandparents were encouraged to take part in the sessions.
"We ask them to join in as well and help us - the more volunteers we get it's easier for us," Gamble said.
"And seeing parents help, children get a little bit more excited because they can kick the ball to mum and dad.
"Being involved in senior football as well as a lot of junior football and junior other areas, [I love] just seeing the enjoyment of the children and seeing them make new friendships from all different backgrounds and schools."
The program will run for about 11 weeks.
